Textile billing software with GST returns from your books

A textile bill is priced per meter, per piece or per kilo, carries a broker, a transport and an L R, and has to agree with GSTR-1 at the month end. When the bill and the return are kept in different places, the gap is found when a notice arrives. In GintiDesk the return is read from the same bills as the ledger.

The bill

  • Sales Order, Delivery Challan and Sales Invoice, each picking up from the one before.
  • Pieces, cut, weight and meters on every line, priced on METERS, PCS or KGS.
  • CGST and SGST or IGST from the supply type; HSN from the item.
  • Credit and Debit Notes against the invoice they correct.
  • Print, or send the PDF on WhatsApp, from the list.

The returns

  • GSTR-1 section by section, checked against your books, with a JSON download for the portal.
  • GSTR-3B line by line, each line opening the documents behind it.
  • GSTR-1 Reconciliation: your books against the filed return.
  • ITC Reconciliation against the GSTR-2B you import, and ITC Recovery to chase suppliers who have not filed.
  • ITC Register with the 180-day payment rule, and ITC Eligibility before you file.
What is filed where GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B are prepared from your entries. Filing them straight to the portal from GintiDesk is still being built; until then you file on the portal with the figures GintiDesk gives you.

Questions

Can I bill cloth per piece and keep it in meters?

Yes. Rate On decides what the bill is priced per; the item's stock stays in its own unit.

Does GintiDesk file GSTR-1 for me?

It prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B from your books and gives the GSTR-1 JSON for the portal. Direct filing is still being built.

How is input credit checked?

Import the month's GSTR-2B and ITC Reconciliation sets each of your purchase bills against it, by supplier invoice number.
