Cloud accounting software for textile traders and wholesalers in India: grey purchase to sale, mill and job work, taka and meter stock, GST returns.
It is built first for textile businesses - cloth bought and sold in pieces, meters and kilos, grey sent to a mill or a job worker and received back lot by lot. Underneath that is full accounting, GST and reporting. Set-ups for other trades are being added; the Business Type box in the pricing section shows which are ready today.
Yes. Every new account starts on a free trial of 14 days or 100 vouchers, whichever comes first, with every feature open and up to 2 users. No card or payment details are asked for, and nothing is charged during the trial.
They stay yours. New entries stop, but you can still open your books, print them and export them. If you choose a plan, you carry on in the same books from where you stopped - nothing has to be entered again.
By two things only: how many vouchers you write in a year and how many people will use it. Every plan has the same features. A plan is for twelve months, paid in advance; prices are shown without GST and payment gateway charges; where these apply, they are added and shown separately before you pay.
No. Nothing is ever charged automatically. When your twelve months are over, a further period starts only when you choose to pay for it. Do note that a plan, once activated, is not refundable - which is exactly why the free trial comes first.
Yes. You download our Excel templates, fill them in - parties, items, ledgers, opening balances, bills still outstanding, opening stock, and this year's vouchers - and upload them. Each file is checked and shown to you before anything is written, and an import can be undone. From another software, export to Excel first and paste into the templates.
Only the users you add and the accountant you invite. Each user gets the screens you allow, and every change to an entry is recorded with who made it and when. No artificial intelligence service reads your books, and your data is not used to train anything.
A backup of each company is taken on our server every night and kept for 30 days. The account owner can also download a backup file of the whole company at any time and keep it, and restore from it.
Yes. You invite your CA, and they open your books from their own login - it costs them nothing and does not use up one of your users. You decide the access, and you can take it back whenever you wish.
No. One account can hold several companies, each with its own books, and you switch between them from the top of the screen. The users and the yearly voucher limit of your plan are shared across the companies on that account.
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B are prepared from your own entries, so the figures are the ones your books hold. Filing them straight to the GST portal from GintiDesk is being built and is listed under What's Next; until then you file on the portal with the figures GintiDesk gives you.
Nothing to install. GintiDesk opens in a browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with your books kept on our servers, so the office and the owner see the same figures. If you like, it can be added to the home screen and opened like an app.
Yes. Reports and registers go out to Excel or PDF, and the account owner can download a backup of the whole company. Even without a paid plan your books stay open to read, print and export.
It means GintiDesk is still in testing, and we say so. The accounting, GST and textile work are what it has been tested on most; some modules have had little real use so far, and a few things on this page are marked "in trial". Use the free trial on your own figures before you decide - and tell us what you find.
